We strictly do not accept returns or exchanges for pierced earring styles for hygiene reasons. The size & dimensions are provided in our product descriptions and we recommend looking over these to avoid disappointment.

All orders are dispatched out of our Kingscliff studio via AUS Post eParcel with a tracking number; which will be sent to your email address upon shipment (please ensure your email is correct).

International Shipping – We Ship Worldwide
FREE for orders over $150 AUD, orders under $150 AUD a flat rate of $20 AUD will apply.
Our international parcels are sent via either PACK & TRACK or registered post. Pack and track includes a tracking number but does not have signature on delivery.
Parcels being sent to rest of the world are sent via REGISTERED MAIL, this offers no tracking, however does require signature on delivery, & once your parcel has been shipped you will receive a confirmation email.
Please allow 3-16 business days for your parcel to arrive, once your parcel has been shipped you will receive a confirmation email & tracking.
Express International Shipping – $30 AUD
International Express Shipping is $30, 3-5 business days, this does not include production time.
Parcels to Germany & Canada
Please note that due to custom & postal delays within these two countries, parcels travelling to Germany & Canada may take slightly longer to arrive. Please allow up 2-4 weeks for your treasures to arrive once posted.
CUSTOMS & CLEARANCE CHARGES
Designs by Elke is not responsible for custom charges. We sometimes encounter our international customers are asked to pay a fee, which will differ from country to country, in order to receive their parcel. Please note, this is nothing to do with Designs by Elke & is another 3rd party charge which is arranged by your countries government.
We do not refund if a customer refuses to pay a customs fee & their parcel is returned to us. If the customer desires the parcel to be shipped back out postage back costs will be the customers responsibility.
If an international countries postal system is at fault, & does not correctly deliver the parcel, the parcel will most likely then be returned to Elke’s Studio, & the postage fee to re-send the parcel out will be the responsibility of the customer to pay.
Covid-19 Delivery Delays
National delivery times vary from 1 day to 14 days depending on location & any impacts from covid-19. International delivery can vary between 5-21 day – there are currently delays on international post due to Covid-19 (some countries more severe than others) please check with your national postal service for updates and also Australia post for any timeline indicators. In some cases we are experiencing international shipping delays of over 8 weeks.
Returns & Exchanges
Customer satisfaction is very important to us here at Designs by Elke, we strive to ensure our customers are always happy & fulfilled. If you receive your purchase & are dissatisfied, please contact us & we can work together in resolving the situation.
We gladly offer exchanges in the form of a gift card equal to the value spent, less postage, if a customer has changed their mind or requires different sizing. The customer must first email Elke at email@example.com and request a returns form.
You must contact us within 14 days of delivery and ship items back to us within 30 days of delivery
Once the piece/s have been received by Elke, please allow 3 business days for the gift card to be issued. Postage back to Elke’s Studio is the customers responsibility.
All pieces are checked before shipment & made with love to ensure a high level of quality. Each ELKE piece comes with a 6-month warranty, which covers damage caused by manufacturing faults only.
If the instance of a break caused by wear and tear, a repair fee is incurred. The cost of the repair is dependent on an assessment.
In the rare case that breakage occurs, due to a manufacturing fault within the first 6 months of purchase, after assessment, Elke will replace or repair the treasure & return it free of charge.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a photo of your piece. We will also happily issue a gift card for any faulty items for the full amount, including any postage paid.
Faulty items are assessed case by case, & if damage has occurred due to personal wear & tear, mishandling or not caring for the treasure as per our instructions, it will not be covered under our warranty.
Designs by Elke is not responsible for refunding an item if the customer has simply changed their mind or no longer wishes to follow through with the order.
Designs by Elke is not responsible for refunding an item if it has been lost in the post.
Designs by Elke is not responsible for personal breakage, damage, wear & tear.
The shipping & delivery time does not include the production time. Elke’s pieces are handmade, if out of stock please allow 3-5 weeks for them to be made.
Designs by Elke is not responsible for items that go missing within Australia & Internationally. If an item does go missing, which is a very rare occurrence Elke Designs will lodge an investigation with the specific postal service & attempt to track its location. Designs by Elke is also not responsible for address’ that are entered incorrectly, so please ensure you check all entered information at checkout.
Accidents do Happen
We understand in life accidents can happen, if you damage or break your pieces in any way please do not hesitate to contact us for advice on how to mend them or send them to our workshop for repair.
